Prezzemolo
Prezzemolo is the green dragon with big ears and the official mascot of Gardaland. He’s been the park’s beloved character since it opened in 1975.
Since that day, Prezzemolo has protected the castle and captured the hearts of millions of visitors of all ages.
In 1993, a competition was held to modernize the mascot. It was won by Venetian cartoonist Lorenzo De Pretto, who designed Prezzemolo as we know him today.
Prezzemolo is never alone in the park—his friends include:
- Aurora, a beautiful princess and aspiring sorceress
- Mously, a bat and Prezzemolo’s best friend
- Pagui, a sweet and friendly seagull
- Bambù, a panda scientist and the genius of the group
- Ti-Gey, a bossy and opportunistic tiger, Prezzemolo’s rival
Since 1995, there’s been a comic book series featuring Prezzemolo and his gang, and in 2002 he starred in an animated series on Italian TV channel Italia 1.
